Product Description

Netafim LP Disc-Kleen Filters are fully automatic filters. The newly redesigned filter spine allows flushing at lower pressure thus reducing energy costs, the need of an oversized the pump, and the need for a pressure sustaining valve. All this saves money. The filters now have a grey colored body and cover for easy identification. Netafim's proven depth filtration technology optimizes irrigation and saves water. The small footprint requires less space and units are factory assembled and tested making installation quick and easy. Applications include surface water containing algae and other organic materials such as reservoirs, canals, rivers and wastewater and well water containing light sand (<3 ppm) and other contaminants

  • Filtration discs can be changed quickly and easily to suit specific water requirements
  • Capable of handling a wide operational flow range
  • 12 VDC Latching models for operating pressure up to 90 psi
  • New plastic backflush valve with lower head loss

Netafim Disc-Kleen Filters allow you to filter more for less. The filter area now offers a longer spine with larger discs to produce 20% more filtration area than before. It's lightweight, with a smaller footprint, making it easier to move.

Filtration Process

Unfiltered water passes through a stack of tightly compressed discs. The water is forced to flow through the interlocking grooves of the disc rings where debris is trapped, releasing only filtered water to the irrigation system.

Backflush Process

As debris in the filter increases, the backflush process is initiated. The discs separate and jets of clean water spray and spin the discs removing the trapped debris which is then flushed out.
